Women into Construction North London Heat & Power Employment Programme

WiC are working with North London Heat and Power, Acciona, Arup, Byrne Bros, Iron Hill Global, RBL Group and The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London, to bring unemployed women, who are resident in the London Boroughs of Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden, Haringey and Barnet, a five-week employment programme, starting in March 2023.

The five-week programme will include Construction related training with CONEL, including CSCS card and a two-week work placement in roles such as Engineering Assistant, Administration, Trainee Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager with the participating employers.  In addition, 1-2-1 support will be provided by Women into Construction.

Women into Construction Newham Employment Programme

WiC are working in partnership with Bouygues, Linkcity, Kilnbridge, Higgins Partnerships, The Hill Group, Modebest, Morgan Sindall Construction, O’Neill & Brennan, Populo Living and The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London, to bring unemployed women, who are resident in the London Borough of Newham, a five-week employment programme, starting in February 2023.

The programme will include training to gain a CSCS card, a two-week work experience placement in Newham and the opportunity to apply for live opportunities and apprenticeships. In addition, 1-2-1 support will be provided by Women into Construction.

The Hill Group Employment Programme

Women into Construction is working with the Hill Group in London to offer:

  • 1-2-1 advice and guidance
  • CSCS training
  • Work placements 
  • Remote mentoring 
  • CV, application and interview advice 
  • Employment brokerage

If you are unemployed or not currently working and live in Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Enfield, Greenwich, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, we can offer you additional support during January and February 2023 including:

  • 1-2-1 advice and guidance
  • CSCS training
  • Work placements 
  • CV, application and interview advice
  • Support to access further training and employment
