Women into Construction East Anglia Employment Programme

WiC are working in partnership with Department of Work & PensionsThe Hill Group, Morgan Sindall Construction, Lovell and Clarion Futures to offer women in East Anglia an exciting programme of employment support in February and March.

The programme includes on-site information sessions in February, Level 1 Health & Safety and CSCS card, two-week full time work placement with participating sponsors, support to apply for live roles and apprenticeships and 1-2-1 support, including travel and childcare expenses, whilst on placement.

To join you must be aged 18+ and resident in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

  • Monday 20th February, 9.45am -12.45pm at Great Chesterford, Cambridgeshire
  • Wednesday 22nd February, 9.45am -12.45pm at Acle, Norfolk

WiC Events – London

Women into Construction North London Heat & Power Employment Programme

Join us on Tuesday 7th March, 12.30-2.30pm, for an information session about the Women into Construction North London Heat & Power Employment Programme, held in partnership with North London Heat and Power, Acciona, Arup, Byrne Bros, Iron Hill Global, RBL Group and The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London.

Open to all unemployed women who are resident in the London Boroughs of Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden, Haringey and Barnet, the programme includes construction related training, including a CSCS card, and a two-week work placement with participating employers. In addition, full 1-2-1 support will be provided by Women into Construction.

Women into Construction Newham Employment Programme

Join us on Wednesday 8th February, 10.30am-2pm, for an information session about the Women into Construction Newham Employment Programme, held in partnership with Bouygues, Linkcity, Kilnbridge, Higgins Partnerships, The Hill Group, Modebest, Morgan Sindall Construction, O’Neill & Brennan, Populo Living and The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London. Open to all unemployed women who are resident in the London Borough of Newham, the programme includes construction related training, including a CSCS card, and a two-week work placement in the borough. In addition, full 1-2-1 support will be provided by Women into Construction.
